Policy & Terms
Please read these terms carefully. By using Kash Option for sourcing and shipping, you agree to the following.
Last updated: 9 March 2026
What We Do
Kash Option is a sourcing and logistics service for customers in Ghana. We help you buy products from overseas (China, USA, UK, Europe), ship them by air or sea, clear customs, and deliver to your address. We coordinate the purchase when you ask us to, or we can ship items you have already bought from your own supplier. We are not the manufacturer of any products and do not provide a manufacturer warranty unless we say so in writing.
If any part of these terms conflicts with the law where you live, that part will apply only to the fullest extent the law allows.
How Your Order Works
You send us an inquiry (product, quantity, specs). We give you a quote that includes product cost and shipping to Ghana. When you accept and pay in full, we place the order with the supplier and arrange shipping. You receive an order ID and tracking when your item is on the way. Delivery is door-to-door in Ghana where we offer it. Full payment is required before we buy or ship; we do not hold or reserve items without payment.
Inventory and Sourcing From Abroad
We do not keep a physical store or warehouse of products in Ghana. Everything we source is purchased from suppliers and platforms abroad and shipped to you. Prices and availability depend on those suppliers, exchange rates, and shipping options. We work with trusted suppliers and do basic checks where we can (packaging, visible condition, quantity), but we cannot guarantee every detail of a product that we did not manufacture. You are responsible for confirming the exact specs you need (model, size, color, compatibility, voltage, region) before paying.
1) Quotes & pricing
Quotes are based on supplier price, availability, exchange rates, platform fees (where applicable), shipping method (air/sea), and handling.
- Quotes may change if supplier pricing, stock, exchange rate, taxes, or carrier rates change before payment is confirmed.
- Unless stated otherwise, quotes are time-sensitive and valid for a limited period.
- Any platform or payment processing charges may be included in your quote.
2) Payments, confirmation & cancellations
Orders are processed on a first-pay basis. Full payment is typically required before we purchase or ship items, unless we agree in writing.
- No reserve without payment. We do not hold, reserve, or set aside items until full payment (or agreed deposit) is received. Quotes do not guarantee availability.
- Payment confirms your approval of the quote and these Policy & Terms.
- Cancellation after purchase/shipment may not be possible. If possible, any supplier/platform cancellation penalties and fees will be deducted.
- We do not provide cash refunds unless required by law. Where applicable, we may offer store credit at our discretion.
3) Sourcing & product condition
We aim to source from trusted suppliers and platforms and may perform basic checks (e.g., packaging, visible condition, quantity) where practical.
- Some products have variations (model year, region lock, plug type, compatibility). You are responsible for confirming the exact specifications you need.
- For auto parts, the customer is responsible for correct diagnosis and fitment. Installed/used parts cannot be returned.
- For electronics, you are responsible for correct voltage, adapters, and safe use. Damage due to misuse, wrong voltage, power surge, or vehicle electrical issues is not covered.
4) Prohibited items
We reserve the right to refuse any item for safety, legal, customs, or carrier reasons.
- Illegal, counterfeit, or regulated goods are strictly prohibited.
- Hazardous items (including certain batteries, chemicals, aerosols) may be restricted and require special handling or may be refused.
- You confirm that items you request are lawful to purchase, ship, import, and possess in Ghana.
5) Shipping & delivery
Shipping timelines are estimates and depend on supplier handling, carrier schedules, customs, peak seasons, and external events.
- Air freight typically takes 3 to 5 working days after warehouse receipt. Sea freight typically takes 6 to 8 weeks.
- Delays caused by customs, carriers, inspections, weather, strikes, or force majeure are outside our control.
- If delivery fails due to incorrect address, unreachable recipient, or refusal, re-delivery or storage fees may apply.
6) Customs & duties
We coordinate customs clearance as part of our service where applicable, but customs authorities may inspect, revalue, delay, or seize shipments.
- You agree to provide accurate item descriptions and supporting documents if requested.
- If duties/taxes arise outside the agreed quote due to misdeclaration, prohibited items, or customs revaluation, you are responsible for those charges.
7) Damage, loss & liability
We take care in handling; however, shipping involves third parties and risk.
- Any visible damage or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos/video and packaging evidence.
- Where insurance is available, we may offer it on request; uninsured shipments may have limited compensation.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected shipment/service.
- We are not liable for indirect losses (lost profit, business interruption, or consequential damages).
8) Returns & refunds
- No cash refunds. All sales are final unless required by law.
- Exchanges may be considered only for verified factory defects reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Items must be unused, in original condition, with original packaging and accessories.
- Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless we provide a prepaid label in writing.
9) Disputes
We want to resolve any issue fairly. If something goes wrong with your order, contact us as soon as possible with your order ID, what happened, and (if relevant) photos or proof. We will look into it and respond. If we cannot resolve the matter, the laws of Ghana will apply to the extent they govern our relationship.
10) Chargebacks & fraud
Fraud and abuse prevention is taken seriously. We reserve the right to refuse or limit service to protect the business and other customers.
- Chargebacks: Disputing a payment (chargeback) with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us to resolve the issue may result in permanent account restriction, blacklisting, and pursuit of recovery for the order amount plus chargeback fees, dispute costs, and legal expenses where permitted by law.
- We may request verification for high-value or high-risk orders (e.g. ID, proof of address, proof of payment). Refusal to provide reasonable verification may result in order cancellation.
- Use of stolen payment methods, identity fraud, or false information is prohibited and will be reported to the relevant authorities.
11) Acceptable use
We expect customers to use our service in good faith. The following are not permitted and may result in refusal of service, suspension, or termination without refund.
- Abuse of returns or claims: Submitting false damage claims, claiming non-receipt when the item was delivered, returning used or altered items as "defective," or repeatedly opening disputes or chargebacks after receiving the goods.
- Harassment: Threatening, abusive, or excessively aggressive communication toward our team or partners.
- Circumvention: Using multiple identities, accounts, or contact details to evade restrictions or to obtain more favourable terms than offered.
- Refusal of delivery: Intentionally refusing delivery to trigger a dispute or refund without a valid reason (e.g. wrong item, genuine damage) may be treated as abuse.
- We may limit the number of inquiries, orders, or returns per customer or per contact (email/phone) to prevent abuse. We are not obliged to disclose internal thresholds.
12) Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are a sourcing and logistics service, not the manufacturer or seller of the products. We do not provide any manufacturer or merchant warranty unless we expressly state so in writing for a specific item.
- Goods are supplied on an "as is" basis subject to any express commitments we make in your quote or order confirmation. We do not warrant that products will meet any particular purpose, specification, or expectation beyond what we have agreed in writing.
- Any manufacturer warranty (if applicable) is between you and the manufacturer; we are not responsible for honouring or administering it unless we explicitly agree otherwise.
13) Governing law
These Policy & Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any dispute arising from or relating to our services or these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, unless otherwise required by mandatory law in your country of residence.
14) Entire agreement
These Policy & Terms, together with any written quote or order confirmation we provide, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kash Option regarding our sourcing and shipping services.
- We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of our services after the updated date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
- For existing orders, the terms in effect at the time of your payment apply to that order, unless a change is required by law.
By placing an order or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Policy & Terms.
